Bobruisk is the administrative center of the Bobruisk district of the Mogilev region. The population is the seventh city of the Republic of Belarus. The city is located at a distance of 150 km from Minsk, 110 km from Mogilev. Located on the river Berezina (tributary of the Dnieper), on which there is the port of Bobruisk. The M5 motorway (Minsk-Bobruisk-Gomel) passes through the city, which is part of a pan-European transport corridor. The city is also an important railway junction, through which both domestic and international passenger and freight traffic passes.
