Krupki is a small town in the north-east of Minsk region, the administrative center of Krupski district, through which the Krupka river flows into the Bobr river, one of the tributaries of the river Berezina. This city is located on the border of Mogilev and Vitebsk regions near the large international highway M1 Minsk - Moscow. There is the railway station near Krupki, the distance to the capital of Belarus Minsk is about 120 km.
The territory of the district lies within the boundaries of the Orsha Upland and the Central Berezinskaya Plain.
